Paul Mai, Vice-President
Paul Mai is currently a Director – Private Equity/Infrastructure at Pomerleau Capital.
Paul has led the procurement of many pan-Canadian projects and has also acted as principal in many rail transportation projects across the globe. Most notably, he has worked on the procurement of the Centre hospitalier de l’université de Montréal (CHUM) and its research center, a multi-billion dollar hospital project procured as a PPP. He also completed the procurement phase of the Champlain Bridge replacement project in Montreal, a C$4 billion project to be completed in 2020. Paul is a specialist in financial modeling, risk simulation and value-for-money analysis within the context of large scale infrastructure projects.
Paul also spent two years working in the London office of a Japanese bank working as a principal investor for a EUR3.5 billion investment platform. Paul holds a Masters in finance from the London Business School in the UK and also obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Paul was also Vice-president of the Young Chinese Professionals Association (YCPA) in 2012-2014.
He is currently the Vice-President of the Montreal Chinese Hospital Foundation.
