Looking Back: The Impact of 2024
Our 32nd Annual Gala took place on October 19th, 2024, at the beautiful Hotel Bonaventure with the enchanting theme of “In Harmony with Nature.” Thanks to our generous supporters, we raised an incredible $888,000 enabling us to expand outpatient services, enhance patient programs, and support phase 2 of our signature project, Claude & Stanley D.K. Ma Garden.

We were honored to welcome distinguished guests, including a representative from the Chinese Consulate, Jennifer Ma representing the Ma family—our major donor—and our Honorary Chair from RBC, whose support and leadership were pivotal to the evening’s success.

Guests were treated to spectacular cultural performances, including a traditional lion dance and Chinese cultural dance, celebrating the heritage and spirit of our community.
A highlight of the evening was the premiere of a special video showcasing the progress of The Claude and Stanley D.K. Ma Garden – Phase 1, along with the unveiling of Phase 2, the next step in our vision to create a healing green space for patients, families, and staff.
Guests participated enthusiastically in both the silent and live auctions, featuring exceptional items, including a stunning diamond piece donated by Kaufman Suisse. Many also joined our $1,000 Pledge, directly fueling our efforts to expand outpatient care and enhance patient programs—the primary goal of last year’s fundraising campaign.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to every guest, sponsor, donor, and volunteer whose generosity made the 2024 Gala such an extraordinary success.
